  1. Poor ol’ Gordy Klings. I am not a Mac user, so I had to look up the spinning beachball to get the joke. It’s pretty funny, I guess. He gets it wrong that the FFRF scholarship requires that the student renounce his/her faith in God, I think. The Scholarship is targeted to students who are already free thinkers. Knowing what’s known about the FFRF, if a Christian could write an essay proving the existence of God, they would probably award the scholarship to such an author.

    • I’ve done a little research. The FFRF high school scholarship has at least one essay subject that a religious person could write with no doctrinal conflicts. Most religious scholarships require the student to prove that he/she is religious and/or to sign some statement of faith.
